We are looking to form our nominating committee for the upcoming 2021-2022 CRES PTO Board Elections. This committee will consist of three (3) PTO members, and no more than one of those may be an executive board member. This committee will work virtually and forms will be submitted electronically to them.
This committee is formed in order to proactively send out request forms to identify candidates that are interested in running that would best serve our PTO, review those forms and present them to the board and PTO members. This committee can ask for recommendations from the PTO board members, general members and should consider the organization's vision. Members of the nominating committee are eligible to become nominees for elected office. The president must not be involved in the nominating committee process or selection of officers.
This committee will be responsible for reviewing nominating forms and compiling a report to present at our General PTO Meeting no later than 30 days before the board election meeting (typically May meeting). More details will be provided once the committee is established.
