Thank you for everyone that joined our meeting last night, below are some of the highlights from last night's meetings.
5th Grade Legacy/Celebration - We have 2 parent volunteers that will help coordinate the 5th Grade Legacy Project as well as ordering/distributing any materials (possibly sweatshirts/yard signs), and coordinating the design effort for the items chosen for our end of year 5th Grade Celebrations since they will be missing out on Camp Casey.
CRES Executive Board Nominations Open - Our nominating committee consists of 3 volunteers, Lisa Crider (CRES Staff), Lisa Close (CRES PTO Secretary) and Amy Butala (CRES Parent & Active PTO Member). Together they will coordinate the distribution and review of Board nominations submitted for the 2021-2022 school year, this committee is not responsible for recruiting nominees rather volunteers are expected to step forward if they are interested in serving.
Nominations are now open through 4/1/2021. If you are interested in running for a board position, feel free to click here to view a brief description of the roles and nomination form where you can enter your details if you are interested in serving on our Board. Supply Pick Up - Remote students & all 4th and 5th Graders will be on 2/11 (3pm-6pm). If you cannot make it during this time, please call the main office to schedule a pick up that works for you.
Family Fun Nights - Cleopatra Art Event is scheduled for February 19th, 2020 at 6pm. Check your emails for pick up instructions, this time we will be at Rock Creek Elementary.
Kindness Week - 2/22 through 2/26, stay tuned for more details from our fabulous staff as we all celebrate Kindness Week as ONE COMMUNITY (remote & hybrid).
CRES Spirit Day @ MOD Pizza - Join us on February 25th, 2020 starting at 10:30 am until closing for our MOD Pizza Spirit Day. 20% of Sales proceeds will be donated to CRES PTO. Please order online or over the phone and use coupon code GR174347C for orders.
Fundraising - Our board is has approved a Spirit Wear and Readathon Fundraiser for the Spring of 2021. We will be posting more information on these as soon as they are available, we want to thank everyone in advance for your support.
Book Fair - Zach has been working with teachers in order to finalize the book orders for students. All students will receive $20 worth of free books that were purchased by the PTO this year. Stay tuned for more information on how these will be distributed.
Yearbook Pictures - As we start reviewing the material for our yearbook we notice we have many more pictures from October (Harvest Hoorah and Ottumnfest) and December (Hot Cocoa and Holiday pics); however, we are really lacking pictures in several categories listed below. Please submit them online using the instructions on our site, http://www.crespto.net/yearbook.html.
We also purchased an additional limited number of yearbooks that are available to families on a first come first serve basis, unfortunately, when these yearbooks are sold we cannot order more so please be sure to order them ASAP if you'd like to secure one for the 2020-2021 school year.
